Follow these tips to get the most out of these AI prompts and produce the start of a working business plan.
AI tools generalize information. If you copy every prompt and try to generate a full business plan in one attempt—you will end up with a generic and lackluster plan.
So, take it one section at a time.
AI also tends to make (a lot) of mistakes. It invents things and plays them off as facts. So, whenever you ask for specific information or financial data, you must verify it’s true. Start by asking the AI tool for sources, but then take the time to research and confirm them manually.
These prompts have been fine-tuned to produce useful results. However, they do not accurately reflect the needs of every business. At a minimum, you should fill in anything outlined in brackets “[like this]” with your information. Add as much information about your business as possible for even better results.
As a reminder, while generative AI can produce usable results, the output will not be unique or accurately reflect your voice as a business owner. Review and update each section to fit your voice, highlight the right information, and remove unnecessary fluff.
